The Global Talent Stream (GTS) is a fast-track LMIA stream for Canadian employers hiring highly-skilled foreign workers in the tech and STEM sectors. It aims to help Canadian businesses scale up quickly by providing work permit approvals within two weeks.
Job must be in Category A (high-growth firms with referral) or Category B (occupation on the Global Talent Occupations List)
Applicant must meet job qualifications
Employer must commit to a Labour Market Benefits Plan
Applicant must pass security and medical checks
Must intend to comply with temporary resident conditions
LMIA approval through Global Talent Stream
