The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) allows the province of Ontario to nominate individuals with the skills and experience needed in the local labour market. It includes multiple streams under three categories: Employer Job Offer, Human Capital, and Business.
Must qualify under one of the OINP streams (e.g., Express Entry Human Capital Priorities, Employer Job Offer, Masters Graduate, etc.)
Language proficiency in English or French
Educational credential assessment (if required)
Sufficient funds to settle in Ontario
Genuine intention to reside in Ontario
Proof of job offer (if applicable)
Proof of work experience and education
Language test results (IELTS/CELPIP)
Settlement funds (if required)
Valid passport and personal ID
Police certificate and medical exam
Provincial Nomination: 2–3 months
Federal PR Processing: 8–12 months
OINP Application: CAD $1,500–$3,500 (varies by stream)
Federal PR Application: CAD $1,365
